Coaching is not rocket science. Coaching itself is not complex, it’s not magic and it’s not about fixing something that is broken.
Coaching is not therapy and it’s not counselling.
Coaching is not about analyzing a work situation and then having your coach make a business recommendation.

Coaching is an efficient, high-impact process that examines your current reality to gain greater clarity and establish direction.
A coaching session allows the time and space to discuss your priorities in a confidential and supportive setting.
Coaching is about short, effective meetings, that generate important insights and allows you to identify what you want. It’s a creating conversation in which you identify and then focus on your imagined future, your 'Island B'.
Being coached is hard work! It requires honesty, openness, reflection, contemplation and intention.
Coaching can be incredibly empowering. Through active listening and powerful questioning, you will gain greater awareness and added clarity - enabling you to reach your goals.
Focus
I have been coaching and mentoring executives, business leaders/owners and emerging leaders for more than 15 years. I work with these leaders to help them realize new possibilities, strengthen their leadership skills, and achieve higher levels of performance. Through my experiences working with a range of companies from small startups to multi-billion dollars organizations, two things have become abundantly clear. First off, the world needs more talented leaders, and secondly, being a leader is exceptionally challenging and requires dedication and support.
At Island B Coaching, we focus primarily on executive-style coaching which develops leadership characteristics, increases awareness, and helps individuals realize their full-potential - allowing them to truly thrive in their roles. This process is founded on helping clients discover and leverage their strengths through active listening, asking thought provoking questions, establishing intention and then settings goals in order to achieve the desired results. Executive and leadership coaching is the foundation required to build your career and succeed in an ever-changing world.

STARTER OR REFRESHER
Designed for those who are new to Coaching, or for people who have used a coach in the past and are looking for a 'check in' on a specific topic.
You will get the support and space you need to clarify your goals and create a personalized action plan.
Program includes 3 hours of coaching in a 30 day period:
Free 30 minute discovery call.
One 90 minute intensive session; to set the foundation and establish goals.
Two 45 minute follow-up sessions; to establish additional goals/steps and check-in on progress.
COACH, CONFIDANTE & MENTOR
Having an experienced coach as a confidante and partner can be the catalyst you need to develop your leadership competencies and achieve your goals.
We will work together on a regular basis to discuss your current reality and then establish a path for achieving your desired future and address bumps along the way.
Program includes 8+ hours of coaching over 4 months:
Free 30 minute discovery call and ongoing email support.
One 90 minute intensive session; to set the foundation and establish goals.
Eleven bi-monthly, 60 minute sessions, to maintain focus and develop competencies.
AD HOC COACHING
For organizations looking to support one or multiple employees through re-occurring or short notice Coaching sessions, a retainer contract can be arranged.
Hour by hour coaching is also available to support organizations or individuals.
Coaching sessions generally occur via video conference or over the phone.
On a case by case basis, in person sessions can be arranged.
INVESTMENT
The first 30 minute discovery session is always free to ensure a good fit between coach and client, with no commitment if it doesn't work out.
Since all individuals and organizations have different needs, varying levels of service are available that include individual sessions, monthly packages or working on retainer.
Packages:
Starter or Refresher: $400
Coach, Confidante & Mentor: $1100
Ad Hoc: $150/ hour
Weekend and evening sessions are available.
